It allows the user to adjust the rear leaf sight on the rifle to exact and repetable positions by turning the turret knob, with each click resulting in a 1/2 minute of angle change in elevation. Made from Brass, some Stainless Steel and laser etched incremental markers. Made robust and accurate.
